University Students or Young People with Equivalent Age Living in Osaka Prefecture Can Receive Coupons to Buy Rice
The Osaka prefecture started to distribute rice coupons to university students or young people with equivalent age.
The following people are eligible for the coupon.
・Residents of Osaka Prefecture, born between April 2, 2003 to April 1,2007.
※ Those not living currently in Osaka, but has a family home located in Osaka, may be eligible.

A.Rice Coupon worth 7,000 yen (through app called (region PAY [Okome Pay Osaka])
B.Food product selected from the website catalog
▶ Period of Application
Monday, September 16, 9 a.m. until Tuesday, December 16,2025 11:59p.m.
▶ How to Apply
Application via internet
As general rule, the application must be made by the person concerned.
▶ What Will You Need to Apply
Document that shows applicant’s name, date of birth, current address
・・・My number card, Zairyu card, Driver’s license, Insurance card, etc.
※ Make sure your My number and Insurance number are not visible when submitting the document.
※※ If the current address is written at the back of the card, please submit that as well.
※ Those who are not currently living in Osaka, you will need a document that confirms your family home is in Osaka, and a document that proves your family relationship with the relatives living in Osaka.
E.g.：A certificate of residence(juminhyo) that shows the (head of the household and the relationship to the applicant, but doesn’t show the My number, and that proves de relationship with a parent or similar who resides in Osaka Prefecture). A family registration (Koseki Tohon) that does not include the registered domicile (honseki).
