Throughout September 6-7, a very strong Typhoon no. 10 is approaching West Japan area. It may cause a huge damage to Osaka area as well.

Highest level of alert is required as this typhoon has been predicted to hit records with its strong wind and very heavy rain.

A big typhoon may cause:

・flood and/or landslide due to heavy rain,

・trees, electricity poles falling from the strong wind,

・electricity and water supply to stop.

Here’s what you can do to prepare before the typhoon comes.

・Clean your drainage system.

・Bring your outdoor furniture, appliances indoor or secure them accordingly (flower pots, etc).

・Close your window shutter.

・Charge your electronic devices.

・Prepare water for bath and drink.

・Prepare emergency supplies (emergency lamp, mobile radio, emergency kit, clothings, emergency foods, outdoor stove, your valuable belongings, etc).

・Check for evacuation spots in your area and share the information to your family.
